Product Description

A whole leg of 12 month cured Iberico Black Pig ham or prosciutto. This is the ultimate in luxury, with this small black pig having led a great life eating olive oil paste, which helps make the flavour of this king of prosciuttos. The black pig is indigenous only to Spain, and has  unique ability to transfer fat and flavour from the outside of its flesh to the inside, thereby imbibing the whole leg with an array of subtle flavours and nuances. Very different to Italian prosciutto, this is by far the best in the world. Note this is NOT the acorn fed Iberico, as the oilve oil paste it eats was developed to mirror the effects that acorns have. The value for money on this Iberico ham is exceptional, and the legs the leanest of export grades. Essential to eat at room temperature for all the flavours to develop.
