The Easter Feast

I know it's time for chocolate at Easter, but what about feeding the family BEFORE their chocolate.

Easter is here again and we have some lovely offers for your Easter feasting.

Lamb is traditional, and we have a delicious way to use it (courtesy of taste.com.au) - a real change from the usual roast and it also makes a great table centrepiece.

My daughter invented the recipe for Chicken Poached in Garlic Butter. This is a really luscious way to cook chicken breast. You can tell she's a chip off the old block - lots of garlic and lots of butter!

The ribs are so easy and 'finger-licking-good' with our own apple sauce in the glaze. The ribs on special are already cooked sous-vide which means the following:

They have been vacuum packed and poached on a really low temperature for over 24 hours and this has a lovely tenderising effect on the meat. All they need is finishing off with a sauce and caramelised. Just like fast food - a super-convenient thing to have in your fridge for mid-week meals. All the hard work has been done - just left to you for finishing off.
