METHOD For the Meat ;

Preheat oven to hot 220Deg C minimum, with roasting/baking tray inside. Remove Butter from top of steaks. Place the steaks on tin foil with the edges turned up to catch the juices, place in the hot roasting tin, place in the hot oven for 10 to 15minutes (10 for rare, 15 for medium). Remove from oven, place butter on top of each steak to melt. Tip over any retained juices...serve immediately .

OPTIONS...,cook with butter on, and pour over again after cooking.


Serve immediately.
This is a rich steak, so keep the rest simple. I would make Hot Chips (frozen are fine if you don't make your own), and a green salad. Or maybe for veggies make some Broccoli, or Buttered Carrots. Nothing too fancy....
I would recommend a deep red wine to accompany this dish, probably a cabernet sauvignon or shiraz...
